About The Position
Gauzy is looking for a bookeeper to join our finance team in a full or part time (50%) position
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities –
- Record daily financial transactions including period close journal entries.
- Perform all activities relate to accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices, payments to vendors and credit card reconciliation.
- Respond to all vendors inquiries.
- Conduct vendor reconciliation upon need.
- Perform all activities relate to accounts receivable, including apply cash received and investigate unrecognized amounts, review aging report and track collection, issue invoices to customers and affiliates.
- Responsible for bank accounts reconciliation
- Responsible for monthly intercompany reconciliation and record of transactions
- Review employees' cost reimbursement
- Work in close coordination with Auditors and Finance service providers and parent company in Israel (Accountants)
Requirements
- Certified bookkeeper (kaufmännische Ausbildung, Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachangestellter)
- Minimum 5 years of experience of proven bookkeeping in a company or tax office
- Experience working with multiple currency environment.
- Experience working with ERP system (SAP – Advantage)
- Well organized with high attention to details
- High verbal and written English skills – Must.
- Familiar with German local reporting requirements – Advantage.
- Experience with SKR03 chart of accounts (Kontenrahmen SKR 03)
- Confident handling of MS Office products, especially Excel
- Reliable, responsible and independent way of working
